Planning your visit.

What is your nearest train station?

Weybridge train station is 1 mile away. From here you can use the local bus service or a taxi. This should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Is there a fee to enter the building?

There is no entrance fee to visit us or to view the majority of our exhibitions. Some of our activities (for example Simulators and Little Learners) can be booked on the day for as little as £6 per person.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, there are over 300 spaces, with an overflow car park available. Parking for guests is free.

Am I allowed to sit in the cars on display?

Of course - our cars are here for your enjoyment. Most of our cars are open but if a particular model is locked then please ask one of our Customer Service hosts who will be happy to assist you.

Unfortunately we cannot allow visitors to sit in some of our heritage vehicles. If you are unsure, please ask one of our Customer Service hosts.

Can I bring my own food into the building?

Unfortunately food which is not purchased on-site is not allowed inside the building; we recommend visiting our on-site eateries the Recharge Café and The Bistro for refreshments. We do however have picnic tables on our grounds where guests are welcome to bring their own food.

Can I bring a dog to the building?

We cannot allow dogs in the building other than our service area. We do have grassed areas adjacent to our building, however we do not recommend bringing dogs as our track can startle them.

Guide dogs are welcome throughout the building.

Do I need to accompany my children whilst in the building?

Yes, our policy is that all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you offer Work Experience?

If you are looking to gain experience from our brand then please contact your local Mercedes-Benz retailer for further information.

Can I bring my own camera?

You are permitted to take photos and videos around the building; however with regards to our driving experiences we cannot allow filming from the back of the vehicle. Driving experiences can be filmed from a mounted onboard camera, with the recordings available to purchase for £30 including VAT.

Can I film in the building?

Yes, we allow filming in the building providing it is for personal use and not business use. If you wish to film inside the building for anything other than personal use, please contact our Marketing team so we can discuss your requirement.

Do you have complimentary Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi within the building – please ask a member of staff for more details.

Will Mercedes-Benz World provide sanitiser stations?

Hand sanitisers will be provided throughout the public areas of the venue.

What is Mercedes-Benz World’s cleaning regime?

Our Cleaning team have been trained to deliver enhanced cleaning and all areas are regularly sanitised. 

Driving Experiences.

My voucher is about to expire, can my voucher be extended?

Yes, of course. Please contact our team on 0370 400 4000 who will be happy to assist.

When can I redeem my voucher?

I purchased a Mercedes-AMG and I would like to book my AMG Performance Training. How can I do this?

Firstly, thank you for buying a Mercedes-AMG.  Please email us mercedes-benzworld@daimler.com or call 0370 400 4000 and we’ll be happy to help.

Is there a height requirement for the Young Driver experiences?

Yes. All guests need to meet the height requirement of 1.5m (4ft 11) due to health and safety regulations.

Can I buy a voucher amount or do I need to decide on an experience?

In purchasing a voucher you do need to decide on an experience however this experience can be amended and upgraded.

I don’t have my driving licence to hand. Can I still take part?

Yes, as long as you hold a full licence you may still attend your experience. We will ask you to sign a disclaimer at the time of sign in confirming you are a full licence holder and we are also able to check with the DVLA if further confirmation is needed.

Can I book a particular driver for my experience?

Our expert drivers are all fantastic however if you have a preference we will do our best to accommodate this. We cannot guarantee a specific driver, however.

Can I book a particular vehicle for my experience?

We cannot guarantee vehicles in advance, however we can make a recommendation on your behalf and try to accommodate your requirements based on what is available on the day.

I have bought a voucher for someone else but it is in my name. Is this a problem?

No this is not a problem, they can ask for this to be amended when they call us to book.

Is there a height or weight restriction to the experiences?

No, within reason we will look to find the best vehicle for you. Most of our fleet are saloon vehicles, but we can advise on the best vehicles for height and weight if necessary over the phone. Please contact us to discuss this.

How much drive time will I get?

As with all of our experiences there is a short seat set up at the beginning of each experience to ensure the driver is happy with seating position, mirrors and dynamics of the vehicle, this usually takes around five minutes.

You will be with your driving specialist for the full duration of the experience.

Do I need to wear anything in particular?

No, please just attend in clothes you are comfortable in, if you are driving with us please take footwear in to consideration, we do not recommend driving in flip flops, stilettos or high heels.

What do I need to bring with me on the day?

If you are attending an Adult driving experience you will need to bring your photo card driving licence with you on the day.

For Young Driver experiences, you will be issued with a log book and lanyard the first time you attend. You will need to bring these to each subsequent visit to track your experience in our rewards scheme.

Can I bring my own camera?

Photos and videos can be taken around the building, however for driving experiences we cannot allow filming from the back of the vehicle. We do offer experiences to be filmed from a mounted onboard camera, and you can purchase the recording for £30 including VAT.

If I’m pregnant can I still drive?

Whilst we have no strict ruling on this, we do not recommend our driving experiences or our passenger rides whilst pregnant. With fast cornering and 0-60 exercises our AMGs provide a thrilling, high adrenaline experience. If you are pregnant and are still looking to enjoy our experiences please inform a member of our track team and your driver.

Can I drive my own car on your track?

No, we cannot allow any other vehicles on our tracks.

Can I share my driving experience with a friend / family?

Our AMG 63 Half Day experiences can be shared between two people.

Venue.

What is the closest road link?

From Junction 10 of the M25 follow the A3 towards London taking the first exit and turn left at the roundabout onto the A245 (signposted Weybridge).
Continue along the A245 for approximately 1.5 miles.
At the second roundabout turn right onto Sopwith Drive.
Continue straight over two roundabouts and then you have arrived at Mercedes-Benz World.

Yes, we have over 300 spaces for guests, with an overflow car park available.

Do you have complimentary Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi within the building, with speeds of up to 4Mb/s per connection. A wired internet connection is also available and charged at £25 + VAT per meeting room. You will also be supplied with a presentation dongle, however please note that non-returned dongles will incur a £200 + VAT replacement charge which will be added to your invoice.

Is there anything else to do whilst at Mercedes-Benz World?

Mercedes-Benz World has lots to offer for all of our guests. This includes exhibitions, experiences such as our Simulator Zone, guided tours, passenger rides, and driving experiences. We also have a retail store on site which stocks a range of branded gifts. Our Events team can provide a visitor guide if needed.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, please speak with our Events team who will be able to provide a local hotel list.

Is an IT technician included in the hire of a suite?

We have dedicated team of IT technicians on site who will be on hand for the setup of your event and throughout the day if required.

Can I use my own suppliers?

We have our own Mercedes-Benz approved supplier list for you to choose from (florist, AV, entertainment, coach companies, taxi, etc.), please request this from our Events team. Be aware that helium balloons, smoke machines, and candles are prohibited. A £500 + VAT charge will apply per external supplier, subject to terms and conditions.

Can I use my own AV equipment?

Yes, but we would require all relevant RAMS documents, as well as PAT testing documents for external and electrical equipment. These must state the date of the event, and be relevant to Mercedes-Benz World. These should be received no later than 1 week prior to the event for approval. An additional charge of £500 + VAT depending on requirements may apply.

Please note when using Apple products we recommend that you arrange a site visit to check the software is compatible and we ask that you provide a VGA adaptor.

Please note we do have the right to refuse any external equipment from being brought on site if these documents have not been received.

Can I have my company logo uploaded on the communal plasma screens?

Your Events Coordinator can advise where this can be displayed. We will require a copy of the logo in JPEG format at least 7 days before the event, in a resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Do you have set menus at Mercedes-Benz World?

Our Events team will provide you with menus based on the style of your event. These menus are for guide purposes, we will be more than happy to create a bespoke menu for your event based on your requirements.

Can I have a choice of menu options for my lunch/dinner?

Set menus are required for lunches and dinners so that guests have the same starter, main and dessert, with the exception of those with special dietary requirements. For any dinner of more than 100 guests we are happy to offer you a menu tasting for 2.

Can I enhance my menu even if I am on a package?

All menus can be added to from our enhancement list. Please speak with our Events team who will be more than happy to suggest ideas.

Can I add additional items on the day?

Our team will try their very best to accommodate last minute requests and will always offer alternative options should some items not be available. Additional items on the day will be charged on consumption and will appear on your final invoice post event.

Can I have a cash bar and/or account bar for my event?

Cash and credit bars are available for all events. The bar tab will need to be settled at the end of the event on a Credit/Debit card.

Will I need to provide a table plan for my dinner?

We require you to provide a table plan and place cards, which should outline the name of guests and location of guests along with dietary requirements.

If you would like support with your table plan, please ask our Events team who will be able to provide a template. We can also help with the printing of table plans, name cards and menus and would be happy to quote for this service. We would require this information 7 days prior to the event.

How many people are on a table for cabaret set up?

We allow for 8 guests per table on 6ft rounds. Additional tables can be requested at £30 + VAT per table which includes black linen.

When do I have to give final numbers?

Adjustments to contracted minimum numbers and dietaries must be received 14 working days prior to your event. After this date you can reduce and/or increase your numbers however you will be charged on the greater number.
