Planning your visit.

Is there a fee to enter the building?

There is no entrance fee to visit us or view our exhibitions. However, some attractions including Little Learners, Simulator Zone, The Grid and FastTrax can be booked on the day from £3 per person.

Is there parking on site?

There are over 300 complimentary spaces available on our site.

Can I charge my EV at Mercedes-Benz World?

We have 11Kw AC chargers on site for Mercedes-Benz World customers. Please speak to our reception team for on the day availability and details.

What is the closest road link?

From Junction 10 of the M25 follow the A3 towards London taking the first exit and turn left at the roundabout onto the A245 (signposted Weybridge).

Continue along the A245 for approximately 1.5 miles.

At the second roundabout turn right onto Sopwith Drive.

Continue straight over two roundabouts and then you have arrived at Mercedes-Benz World.

What is the nearest train station?

Weybridge train station is 1 mile away. From here you can use the local bus service or a taxi. This should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, there is a walking route which would take approximately 20 – 30 minutes.

Am I allowed to sit in the cars on display?

We have a large selection of cars available for you to enjoy, which includes being able to get inside and truly feel what a Mercedes-Benz is like. Cars with the windows down are already open, however if there is a particular model you’d like to see that is locked, please speak to one of our team who will be able to help you.

We have special heritage vehicles, which include a range of Formula 1 cars which guests are unable to sit in.

Can I bring my own food into the building?

Food which isn’t purchased from Mercedes-Benz World can be consumed in a small outdoor seating area.

Our Recharge Café is open Monday – Sunday 10am – 5pm serving hot food between 12pm – 2.45pm. The Bistro is open Saturday – Sunday 10.30am – 3pm with last booking at 2.45pm (subject to availability).

Can I bring a dog to the building?

Service dogs are welcome throughout the building; however we can only allow non-service dogs into our Sales and Service areas and may not explore the rest of the building.

Do I need to accompany my children whilst in the building?

Yes, all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Are photos and videos allowed to be taken during our visit?

Photos and videos are welcome, provided they are for personal use only.

If you wish to film or photograph during your visit for anything other than personal use, please contact our team to discuss your requirements further.

Regarding our driving experiences, we cannot allow filming or photography from within the vehicles. Driving experiences can be filmed from our mounted onboard camera and recordings are available to purchase for £30 including VAT.

Do you have complimentary Wi-fi?

We do offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building. Please speak to a member of our team for more details.

What is Mercedes-Benz World’s cleaning regime?

Our Cleaning team have been trained to deliver enhanced cleaning and all areas are regularly sanitised.

My voucher is about to expire, can my voucher be extended?

How can I book my AMG Performance Training?

What are the requirements for the Young Driver Experience?

All young drivers need to meet the height requirement of 1.5m (4ft 11) due to health and safety regulations. There is, however, no age limit to our driving experiences.

Do I need my driving licence on hand when I visit?

If you hold a full licence, please bring this with you. You will sign a disclaimer at the time of sign-in. We can also check with the DVLA if further confirmation is needed.

Can I drive if I don’t speak English?

You must have a good understanding of English to drive as part of our driving experiences due to health and safety regulations. For passenger rides all guests can participate.

Can I book a specific car and/or driver for my experience?

We cannot guarantee vehicles in advance, however we can make a recommendation on your behalf and do our best to accommodate your requirements based on availability.

I have bought a voucher for someone else, but it is my name. Will this cause a problem?

We can amend this when the experience is booked.

Is there a height or weight restriction to the experiences?

Within reason we will look to find the best vehicle for you. Most of our fleet for our AMG track experiences are saloon vehicles, however we can advise on the best vehicles for height and weight if necessary. Feel free to contact us to discuss on : 0370 400 4000.

How much drive time will I get?

As with all our experiences there is a short seat set up at the beginning of each experience to ensure the driver is happy with seating position, mirrors and dynamics of the vehicle, this usually takes around five minutes.

You will be with your driving specialist for the full duration of the experience.

Do I need to wear anything in particular?

Please attend in clothes you are comfortable in. If you are driving with us, please take footwear into consideration. We do not recommend driving in flip flops, sandals, stilettos or high heels.

If I’m pregnant can I still drive?

Whilst we have no strict ruling on this, we do not recommend our driving experiences or our passenger rides whilst pregnant. With fast cornering and 0-60 exercises our AMGs provide a thrilling, high adrenaline experience. If you are pregnant and are still looking to enjoy our experiences please inform a member of our track team and your driver.

Can I drive my own car on the track?

We cannot allow any other vehicles, other than our fleet cars, on the track.

USBs.

How can I play with sound?

VLC Media player needs to be downloaded to your PC or Laptop. The video then needs to be opened via VLC to allow for the best viewing with audio. – refer to instruction sheet within your merchandise envelope for detailed breakdown.

How can I view my footage on a different device if it’s not compatible with the current format?

All our footage is provided in MKV format. If you prefer to view it in MP4 format, you can convert the files using VLC Media Player.

Can I purchase my USB the day after my experience?

If you are wanting to purchase your USB recording you will need to purchase on the day of your experience, so we are able to hand you over your USB. The location for purchase is in the Drivers Lounge.

Am I able to watch the footage on my smartphone or tablet?

The footage you purchase is only provided on a USB, therefore it isn’t compatible with a phone/tablet. The footage is best played on Windows or Mac OS.

Am I able to share my footage on social media?

Yes, this is your footage, so you are allowed to share how you please.

In-door Attractions.

Can I book in advance?

All attractions are paid for on the day and are first come first serve, subject to availability.

What’s the minimum age to use the Simulators?

We have Simulators suitable for ages 3+.

How much are the Simulators?

Our Simulators range from £6 - £20 per session.

How long does a Simulator session last?

Sessions last approximately 10 minutes or 5 laps.

What game ware do you use in the Simulator Zone?

We use Assetto Corsa on our GT-style simulators and Little Racers, and the official F1™ Game on our F1 style Simulators and Junior Racers.

Do you hire out the Simulator Zone for special events?

Yes we do. Please contact us for further information.

What's the minimum age to use Little Learners

Little Learners is for ages 3 - 5 years old.

How much are Little Learners?

Little Learners is £6 per person per session.

How long does a Little Learners session last?

Little Learners is a 15 minute experience with 10 minutes allocated to driving and further time for a drivers briefing and licence hand-over.

What's the minimum age to use FastTrax?

FastTrax is suitable for all ages. However, we recommend 3+ to get the most out of the experience.

How much is FastTrax?

FastTrax costs £3 per person per race.

How long does a FastTrax session last?

FastTrax includes a 1 minute Qualifying session followed by a 10-lap race. This culminates in approximately 3 minutes of slot-car racing. 

Corporate Bookings & Events.

Can I have my company logo uploaded on the communal plasma screens?

Your Events Coordinator can advise where this can be displayed. We will require a copy of the logo in JPEG format at least seven days before the event, in a resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Can I use my own suppliers?

We have our own Mercedes-Benz approved supplier list for you to choose from (florist, AV, entertainment, coach companies, taxi, etc.), please request this from our Events team. Be aware that helium balloons, smoke machines, and candles are prohibited.
Please discuss any bespoke requirements with a member of the team.

Can I use my own AV equipment?

Yes, but we would require all relevant RAMS documents, as well as PAT testing documents for external and electrical equipment. These must state the date of the event, and be relevant to Mercedes-Benz World. These should be received no later than 1 week prior to the event for approval.

Please discuss any bespoke requirements with a member of the team.

Is an IT technician included in the hire of a suite?

We have dedicated team of IT technicians on site who will be on hand for the setup of your event and throughout the day if required.

What is included in my DDR package?

Can my guests drive if English is not their first language?

All guests must have a good understanding of English to drive in our driving experiences due to health and safety regulations. For passenger rides all guests can participate.

Do you have set menus at Mercedes-Benz World?

Our Events team will provide you with menus based on the style of your event. These menus are for guide purpose, we will be more than happy to create a bespoke menu for your event based on your requirements.

Set menus are required for lunches and dinners so that guests have the same starter, main and dessert, with the exception of those with special dietary requirements. For any dinner of more than 100 guests we are happy to offer you a menu tasting for two.

All menus can be added to from our enhancement list. Please speak with our Events team who will be more than happy to suggest ideas.

Can I add additional items to my event on the day?

Our team will try their best to accommodate last minute requests and will always offer alternative options should some items not be available. Additional items on the day will be charged on consumption and will appear on your final invoice post event.

Can I have a cash bar and/or account bar for my event?

Cash and credit bars are available for all events. The bar tab will need to be settled at the end of the event on a Credit/Debit card.

Will I need to provide a table plan for my dinner?

We require you to provide a table plan and place cards, which should outline the name of guests and location of guests along with dietary requirements.

If you would like support with your table plan, please ask our Events team who will be able to provide a template. We can also help with the printing of table plans, name cards and menus and can quote for this service. We require the details seven days prior the to the event.

How many people are on a table for cabaret set up?

We allow for eight guests per table on 6ft rounds. Addition tables can be requested at £30 + VAT per table which includes black linen.

When do I have to give final numbers?

Adjustments to contracted minimum numbers and dietaries must be received fourteen working days prior to your event. After this date you can reduce and/or increase your numbers, however you will be charged on the greater number.
